Curriculum

The online MSc Strategic Marketing will equip you with an advanced knowledge and understanding of contemporary marketing principles, digital marketing fundamentals, and marketing analytics. This course is designed for students with any level of background in marketing, whether you’re new to the field or already have years of professional experience.

This course is subject to approval. This means that it has received initial agreement from the University and is currently undergoing a detailed final approval exercise, through the University’s quality assurance processes.

These processes are a requirement for all Higher Education Institutions within the UK, to ensure that courses are of the highest standard. Occasionally there may be instances where the University may delay or not approve the introduction of the course.

Throughout the course, you will:

  • Enhance your leadership skills: Develop confidence, adaptability, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Admissions

Applicants must have a minimum of a Lower Second Class Honors (2:2) UK undergraduate degree, or a recognized equivalent international qualification to apply. Relevant work experience may also be considered if you have at least one year of relevant experience in a full-time graduate-level role or a minimum of two years’ experience in a relevant graduate-level part-time role.

To be considered for admission into the online MSc Strategic Marketing, you will need to submit the following materials:

  • Online application (no fee).

  • Scanned copies of signed/stamped qualifications (certificates or transcripts) to show how you meet, or expect to meet, the entry requirements.

  • Contact details for two people who have knowledge of your academic or professional ability. These will usually be academic references from a lecturer/teacher/faculty member at your current or last institution. If your academic studies were completed some time ago, it may be more appropriate to select referees from your professional area of work. (At this stage, it is not necessary to provide written references. Should they be required, we will contact your referees directly. By providing these contact details, you are consenting that you have the permission of your referee for sharing this data with us for the purposes of obtaining a reference.)

  • Personal statement of 500 to 1,000 words, which should include any further information you feel is relevant to your application, including your current interests in the subject area and explain why you wish to undertake this course.

  • Optional: Résumé/CV. If you choose to upload this document, please provide information about any relevant experience (paid/voluntary) that may support your application, and list your most recent position first. 

  • Evidence of your English language level (if English is not your first language).
